Social Media Masterclasses for UK Charities and Social Enterprises
Lindsay Woodward Marketing is launching a series of social media masterclasses for UK charities, social enterprises and charitable trusts.
Marketing Consultancy Lindsay Woodward Marketing will hold its first ‘Generate Success Through Social Media’ monthly masterclass this October, with the two-hour events designed to help the charitable sector use their social media channels strategically.
Lindsay Woodward, Managing Director, said: “We’ve started to work with a few different charities and they’ve told us they need help with their social media more than anything else. It isn’t necessarily in terms of understanding how the channels work, but more around how to use social media to complement their marketing and business strategies.”
Lindsay, who has been working in marketing for nearly 20 years, is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. To run these Masterclasses, she has teamed up with Jessica Pilkington, Director of PR company Pilkington Communications.
Jessica said: “Before launching my PR company I worked for local grant giving charity Northamptonshire Community Foundation for over seven years, so I appreciate the unique challenges and opportunities this sector faces. Communication channels need to work seamlessly together so that any investment in time is well spent - whether charities and social enterprises want to simply stand out from the crowd, attract new donors, recruit trustees, promote fundraising drives or thank their volunteers.”
Lindsay added: “I am thrilled to be collaborating with Jessica on this exciting project. We both have strong connections with the not-for-profit sector and already have experience working together to support charities with their PR and marketing objectives.”
These Masterclasses have been designed to help organisations:
• Raise their profile
• Increase support and donations
• Stand out from the crowd & engage with new and existing donors
• Recruit talent and new trustees
• Celebrate and mark charitable objectives
Jessica said: “With 53 million active social media users in the UK, your audience is out there and waiting to hear from and about you.“
